  Time. TIME. time.

Neither the past nor the future. But now.

Why wait for the phone to ring when you can create now.

We have the means to create.

So, what are you waiting for?

  Approval? Acceptance?

Why? Because you’re afraid of doing something wrong?

  Try! Try and fail.

  Fail quickly and fail often.

Find your niche and carve your way.

  Pave your way.

    Command your way.

Empower yourself to do all that you want to do and strive to be all that you can be.

  Why wait?

    Why wait?

The 10 Second Rundown

A flash update! Here’s what I have going on at the moment:

  1. Landed a writing and performing fellowship with the Geffen Playhouse. l33t!
  2. Guys Reading Poems finished yet another round of Kickstarter funding and is 99.5% completed! Go color correction go!
  3. New headshots! Check them out in the Stills section of the site!
  4. Updated bio! (Work in Progress)
  5. I snagged by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin a SAG-AFTRA delegate position! Onwards & upwards!

That’s pretty much it for now! It’s 1 a.m. and the brain is much plus I’m way overdue on my draft of my monologue and a whole bunch of important emails…but, shhh! Don’t tell!! Our little secret! And here is a period for the sake of periods.

Irony within Art

“Does life imitate art?” I asked myself as the irony unfolded yesterday afternoon. In reflections, I look past and through wondering how I was received here.

I turn. I turn. I turn
around and in former times I seek.

How did I get here?
What went wrong?

What if I fall?

Every now and then we lose our path
and we lose a little bit of ourselves.

Every now and then we regain our path
guided by the little signs we often ignore.

And we find a little bit of ourselves
sprinkled here, and sprinkled there

wondering what was missing,
only to discover the broken pieces.

The broken pieces from our fall.

How will you mend your broken pieces?

“What if I fall?”
“Oh my darling, what if you fly?”

Do you ever ask yourself if you like the person you are? If you are who you’ve always wanted to be? Do you know who you want to be?

To be honest, it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I realized who I really wanted to be. I want to be that guy who tells people they can fly. I want to see the magic they have stored up in their hearts for so long. And I want to make them see it, I want to make them use it. Because, truth be told, falling is just another way to fly.
